The primary focus of Cotton Electric Cooperative is to provide our members with power that is safe, reliable and affordable.

If you need to establish a new service, you will need to fill out a commercial load calculation form and a membership application form. You can fill one out in person at our offices at 226 N. COMMERCIAL LOAD CALCULATION FORM

All information must be completed on the Membership Application Form on this page. Before you get started, you will need certain information to successfully fill out this application. It helps to gather it before starting the application.

For Commercial Accounts, we will need the following:

Legal Name of Entity: We require the Federal ID Number (EIN) or SSN of all applicants. Include the Trade Name of Business if different from the legal name of the entity.


Type of Business Entity: Sole Proprietor/Individual, Corporation, Limited Liability Company, Limited Partnership, Limited Liability Partnership

Authorized Signer: We required the signature of the business owner or authorized agent on the membership application.

Authorized Signer Documentation: Examples include signed articles of organization, operating agreements, limited partnership agreements, or corporate resolution.
 

Photo ID: We require a photo ID of the Authorized Signer.
 

Meter number: The meter number is on the face of the meter serving the location requiring electricity. The number begins with two letters and is followed by five numerical digits. If there is no meter because your location has not had electrical service before, please contact our Engineering Department at 580-875-3351. You will not be able to complete the member application.

Builders and Developers
If you are a builder or developer who has a project in our area, please contact our engineering department prior to the installation of any roads or other utilities.


Cooperative Difference
Our service to you doesn’t end with providing electric service. We’re also dedicated to providing our members with additional services such as energy assessments and rebate programs in order to help improve life for our members.

Service address
Service address is where the electricity is required. We will ask for a billing address in another part of the application.
As a Cotton Electric member, I agree to do the following
1.    Pay the fees and charges detailed below. All estimates good for 90 days from date signed.
2.    Comply with the Cooperative’s articles of incorporation, bylaws, tariffs, service rules and other policies.
3.    Provide all easements requested, without charge to the Cooperative, necessary for the provision of electric service.
4.    By signing this document, you are agreeing for the Cooperative to run an ONLINE Utility Credit Report. (Residential accounts only)
5.    Applicant hereby agrees to subscribe to the Cotton Electric Current and that $3.84 of the amount paid for electricity each year is for a subscription to Oklahoma Living magazine, a monthly publication for the members of Oklahoma’s Rural Electric Cooperatives. This charge is to apply to the Membership Account only.
6.    To receive periodic auto-dialed or prerecorded calls and/or text messages from Cotton Electric Cooperative, Inc. at the number(s) identified below.  I understand that such calls/texts may relay information about my account, outage information, and/or disconnect status, and that I can opt-out of receiving such calls and texts at any time.  I further understand that I am not required to provide consent as a condition of purchasing any property, goods or services.  I agree to notify Cotton Electric Cooperative, Inc. immediately in the event that I voluntarily or involuntarily relinquish any number(s) identified below.

Cotton Electric has two Billing Cycles. Please select your preference to make payments by the 1st of each month or by the 20th of each month.
Commercial applications may be subject to an up-front deposit. A $5 membership fee and $35 service initiation fee are both DUE UP FRONT.
