The primary focus of Cotton Electric Cooperative is to provide our members with power that is safe, reliable and affordable.
If you need to establish a new service, you will need to fill out a membership application form. You can fill one out in person at our offices at 226 N. Broadway in Walters or 1101 W. Oak Avenue in Duncan. If you prefer, you can fill out the member application on this page. Before you get started, you will need certain information to successfully fill out this application. It helps to gather it before starting the application.
Member identification: We require the social security number and date of birth of all member applicants. If the membership is to be a joint account, we require the same information of the co-applicant.
Photo ID: We require a photo ID of all member applicants and co-applicants. You will need to scan or take a picture of your photo ID to upload with this application. An acceptable photo ID is a card issued by federal, state or local government agencies or entities, provided it contains a photograph and information such as name, date of birth, gender, height, eye color, and address.
Meter number: The meter number is on the face of the meter serving the location requiring electricity. The number begins with two letters and is followed by five numerical digits. If there is no meter because your location has not had electrical service before, please contact our Engineering Department at 580-875-3351. You will not be able to complete the member application.
IMPORTANT: Must be the meter that will serve your specific location. If you have any questions or are unable to find the meter, please call us at 580-875-3351.
