Energy Camp

Youth Power Energy Camp is designed to help eighth-grade students develop leadership skills, have summertime fun, and at the same time learn about one of rural America’s most important industries – rural electrification. This great summer opportunity is available for eighth-graders.

Students selected to participate in the Electric Cooperatives of Oklahoma Youth Power Energy Camp will spend several days enjoying the pleasures of Canyon Camp, near Hinton, OK – from volleyball tournaments to swimming to hiking. And best of all, students will start friendships that will last a lifetime! Students experience first-hand the exciting world of rural electricity:

  • watch safety demonstrations
  • climb a pole
  • hear from co-op leaders.

Plus, they will have the opportunity to sharpen leadership skills by working with new-found friends from every corner of the state to set up and run their own cooperative business.

For more information, please call Cotton Electric's Marketing Department at 580-875-3351 or contact us via email.
